Kelly Peetz is a self taught artist living and working in Indianapolis. The paintings shown here were done in watercolor and ink. They represent the artist's theme of women and/as nature. "Throughout my life I have been driven to put my ideas on paper. I love to experiment and try different techniques with each piece. Usually I start with an abstract idea and let the whole process evolve at its own pace."

"Describing the earth as female has always resonated strongly with me. I love the natural world whether it is in the deserts of Arizona or the forests of Indiana. Life is always transforming into the next moment. This group of paintings was created with this specific approach."
