KEO: COLORS "KEO" is a self-taught artist, creating for the past 15 years. She feels that art can't always be taught, that art is a passion that lies within her soul and has created an artist forever. KEO's work is certainly an original style, inspired by brilliant colors and from a creative imagination. "Through great passion comes the energy bursting onto the canvas - the vibrant colors and the bold, bright, and compelling imagery which bring the viewers closer to their own emotions and memories, and the discovery of their own passions." Influenced by Picasso, Kandinsky, Haring, etc., KEO has developed a
style which she calls "Identifiable Abstract" a figurative expressionistic style that studies the human condition, and
visually conveys the image's true feelings. "If I get the viewer to react, whether it be negative or positive, then I have
accomplished my goal as an artist. Provoking a thought is what art is all about."
Her work has caught the eyes of many private collectors and has been shown in
many intimate venues throughout Seattle. KEO's work is primarily in acrylic, but
she uses all types of mediums. Oftentimes you can find KEO in café's around Seattle,
with sketchbook in hand working on her next creation. (click on each
